It is well with me

This summer has been strange and I haven't found the words. 

It's been unexpected and exciting and disappointing. And I find myself looking for a lesson in it all and wondering why people and circumstances come into our lives. But I think the only lesson to be learned is to lean into God, press on, and learn to be with what is. 

I woke up this morning and the air is crisp. I breathe deeply and know that better things are ahead. 

Thank you, Lord, for the promise of new seasons.
